Set Combinations for Users 1-8 on a AMSEC ESL20XL Digital Lock

The next step in the process is to set the combinations for users 1-8 on the ESL20XL digital lock. So we're going to start with user number 1.

So for user number 1, we're going to press the C button, #, 1 for user number 1, # then our Master Code 6-5-4-3-2-1-#, then our code for user # 1. We're going to make it simple. 1-2-3-4-5-6-# Then we need to do it again. 1-2-3-4-5-6-#. You'll hear the warbling sound or beeps, 5 or 6 beeps then you know that you did it correctly. So let's test it. So C-1-2-3-4-5-6-#. Lock opens. So we did user number 1.

So we're going to do user # 2 now. So what we're going to do is we're going to press C, #, 2, #, then your Master Code 6-5-4-3-2-1-#. Then we're going to make it simple. We'll do 6 2's. 2-2-2-2-2-2-#. We need to do it again, we always do it twice. 2-2-2-2-2-2-#. Now it's set.

So now we're going to skip ahead. So you do the same thing for 3,4,5,6,7. We're going to skip ahead to user # 8. So what we're going to do is press C, #, 8, # 6-5-4-3-2-1-# then we're going to set a code. So we're going to do 9-8-7-6-5-4-#. We're going to do it again. 9-8-7-6-5-4-#. Now user # 8 code is in there. We're going to test it. C-9-8-7-6-5-4-#. Lock opens. So now you have your users programmed in the lock.
