Hi, Dye the Safe Guy, Dye Hawley to talk about the V-Line Desk Mate Pistol Safe. This pistol safe is 3.50" high, 10.50" long, and 7.50" wide. It is made in the USA and it also has the California Department of Justice certification. Which means it meets a minimum standard of steel thickness and construction.

It is made out of 14 gauge steel and it has what I feel is one of the best locks in the industry. This is the Simplex lock. This lock has 5 buttons and over 1100 or 1200 variable combinations. You set it yourself so the chances of anybody figuring out your combination are very very small.

As we open it up here, you can see there is a tray. This is where you put your pistol. It's covered with foam to protect the bluing. So when you open this up you can grab your pistol within 10 seconds or less.

The other nice feature about the Desk Mate is that you can mount it underneath counters and shelves. You can mount it on the sides. It also has a quick-release mechanism. So let's say for example you have it mounted under a table or under a nightstand in your bedroom and you want to take it to the gun range. There is a quick-release mechanism so you can just take the safe, the mounting plate stays at your home. You take the safe to the firing range to do target practice with your pistol.

One other nice feature V-Line has on this is you can purchase another quick mounting bracket. So let's say you wanted to mount it in an RV or some other vehicle. You can do that and also have the one at home as well. So you can move it back and forth.
