Hi, Dye Hawley here, Dye the Safe Guy to talk about a rather unique product, the V-Line 41214QVXL Quick Vault XL Wall Safe. This safe is made to fit in a 4" 2x4 wall on 16" centers. It's made of sturdy 14 gauge steel and it features the very easy to use Simplex lock. Simplex has 5 buttons and it has over 1,500 codes that you can program into it to make it secure.

The V-Line Quick Vault XL has a 1-1/2" flange all the way around the outside so when you install it, this would go on the drywall and then the 4" goes in behind the studs. It also features 3 shelves which have this nice felt lining on them in case you have jewelry you don't want to get scratched. Or if were to store a handgun, it wouldn't scratch the bluing on the handgun.

The nice thing about a wall safe is that you can put it in between the studs and then put a picture or some other thing like a mirror over the front of it to conceal it wherever you have it in your house.
