HOME INVADER KILLED IN ALBUQUERQUE

A suspect allegedly broke into one home in the neighborhood. After being detected by a homeowner, the suspect tried to steal a set of keys, but was unable to flee the scene. The suspect then tried to break into a second residence. That led to an altercation, during which at least one gunshot was fired, killing the suspect.

The case remains under investigation.
