The personnel of the DPR Ministry of Emergency Situations were once again targeted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the liquidation of a fire in the private residential sector.
On September 11, 2019, at 14:04, a message was received by the 6th fire and salvage unit of the fire and rescue unit of the State Fire and Rescue Squad in Donetsk that after the shelling by the Ukrainian forces, a private residential building on Mamina-Sibiryaka Street, the village of Trudovskiye in the Petrovsky district, caught fire. Having received the information, the guard of the fire and rescue unit immediately drove to the site in full strength.
During the fire extinguishing, a targeted shelling of the Ministry of Emergencies staff began from the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result of the shelling, three rescuers were wounded, one of whom was hospitalized in serious condition, two in a state of moderate severity.
