Dima Tripp of Gardiner, Maine is traveling to Ukraine on August 19th and will stay for three months. He will be working with military chaplains in a de-occupied area, to serve people living in Ukraine who have been deeply affected by the ongoing conflict. They will be delivering food, medical supplies, and Bibles, and Dima will be documenting both the ministry efforts as well as the stories of Ukrainian people.

How We Got Here:

Dima was adopted from Ukraine at the age of fourteen in 2016. While creating a new life for himself in the U.S., including adjusting to a new family, language, and culture, giving his heart to Jesus, and getting a job and graduating high school, his homeland of Ukraine has remained a core piece of his identity.

In the past few years, Dima has traveled back to Ukraine twice to visit family and friends, and to soak up the culture and land that he loves so much.

After the Russian invasion, Dima was distraught and he desired to help the people of his home country. He and his dad pursued several possibilities to work as a volunteer, such as serving Ukrainian refugees in border countries, but nothing panned out. But God's plan and timing, as always, is best, and Dima has now connected with Revelation Media, a ministry that can make use of his gifts and abilities as a communicator, and allow him to serve in a meaningful way.

How You Can Help:

Dima is serving as a volunteer. He will be taking three months off of work in order to minister in Ukraine. Revelation Media’s resources go directly to serving those in Ukraine; Dima needs to cover his expenses himself.

Dima needs to raise about $7,000 for this trip. His travel will be approximately $2,000. He needs about $1,500 for housing. He will purchase about $2,000 worth of gear to use for documentary work. The remaining $1,500 will cover various in-country expenses. Any excess money raised will be used to purchase more Bibles, food, and medical supplies for distribution in Ukraine.

Thank You for Your Help!

Thank you so much for contributing to this campaign! Dima is fully aware of the risks inherent in this trip, but he is ready to take on a mission that is so meaningful and will benefit others in this direct and powerful way. He appreciates every contribution, whether five dollars or five hundred dollars, and would cherish your prayers throughout his trip, as well.
