Em Agosto de 1990, iniciou-se um dos conflitos mais marcantes no Oriente-médio, a Guerra do Golfo. Parece que o passado está tomando formas sem controle, pois nesse sábado, 14 de Setembro, ocorreram diversos ataques à maior fábrica de processamento de petróleo do mundo na Arábia Saudita, e o o presidente americano, Donald Trump, foi direto, afirmando que os EUA aguardam mais informações da Arábia Saudita para assim realizar uma ação militar.
