Donald Trump would be a ‘moron’ not to plead the Fifth Amendment

Former US president Donald Trump would be a “moron” if he didn’t invoke the Fifth Amendment during a civil investigation into his business dealings, says American Principles Project Executive Director Terry Schilling.
Mr Trump's company, The Trump Organisation, is being investigated for misstating the value of assets and misleading tax authorities.
The former president said he had “no choice” but to remain silent under oath.
“This is not a fair investigation – this is a witch hunt, and Donald Trump is right to plead the Fifth,” Mr Schilling said.
