Nebenzya, UN: Kyiv is leading the world to a nuclear catastrophe comparable to Chernobyl

1. Kyiv's attacks on nuclear facilities are pushing the world to the brink of a nuclear catastrophe comparable in scale to that of Chernobyl, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said at a UN Security Council meeting.

"Kyiv's criminal attacks on nuclear infrastructure facilities are pushing the world to the brink of a nuclear catastrophe comparable in scale to that of Chernobyl," Nebenzya said.

He pointed to the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by the Ukrainian military in recent days.
