Bellingham WinkWink Sex shop - Youth "Sex-Ed" Protest on August 10th, 2022

A second protest was organized by Conservative/Parents Rights activists against the Wink Wink Sex Shop in light of their proposed Sexual Education classes for those 9 and over in light of the business owner being a education director for the public school system in Bellingham, WA whom would be in conflict of interest of teaching sex ed at her private business.

Increased security and scrutiny was paid by counter demonstrators/store operators in light of unknown masked vandals who threw rocks breaking business windows last Sunday at 3 am. Despite this the protest was peaceful with little to no engagement in stark contrast to the first demonstration against the business.

Both sides have claimed no responsibility but are suspicious of the other side and lack of identification has left the scene as remaining under investigation by the police.

Demonstrations were held on Commercial Street, Bellingham, WA in front of the store with both sides largely staying on opposite sidewalks on August 10th, 2022 in Whatcom County.
