Sunday Longplay - Cadash (Arcade) - Priest Playthrough

This week on Sunday Longplay, it's a lesser-known hidden gem of an arcade game. I had played the TurboGrafx-16 port of this game on my channel previously, but now it's time to explore it again in its original format. Welcome back to the world of Cadash!

This game is a side-scrolling action RPG game, in a similar vein as Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link or Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest released by Taito to the arcades in 1989 and later ported over to the TurboGrafx-16 in 1991 and the Sega Genesis in 1992. The Genesis port only allows for 2 playable characters (the Fighter and the Mage), while the TurboGrafx and Arcade versions had 4 (adding the Priest and the Ninja in addition to the other two). It also saw compilation re-releases on Taito Memories Volume 2 on the PS2 in 2005 and Taito Legends 2 on the Xbox and PC in 2007.
