NY Times FAILED Kavanaugh Smear TRAINWRECK Worsens - News Editors Rejected Non-Story

Joe Pompeo reports in Vanity Fair that the authors of the failed New York Times hit piece on Brett Kavanaugh originally tried to get their story printed in the news section of the NY Times. The news editors did not believe there was enough "juice" in it to warrant a story and referred them to the Review section of the newspaper. The Washington Post also says despite being aware of the same information they also made the same decision not to go with the story.
