The US has charged a member of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) with plotting to murder ex-President Donald Trump's former National Security Adviser, John Bolton. Shahram Poursafi offered $300,000 to individuals in US to carry out the killing, the Justice Department said. Poursafi was likely seeking revenge for 2020 US airstrike that killed IRGC commander Qassem Soleimani, it added.
