Led the Chicago Bulls to their first NBA championship. In the 1997-98 season, Jordan won his 10th career scoring title and led the Bulls to their sixth championship. On September 11, 2009, Jordan was officially inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame. On November 23, 2016, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama.
