In observance of National Women’s Day, Cape Town-based non-profit organisation, Save Our Schools (SOS), hosted a dignity drive activation in Kraaifontein to raise awareness around the 4 million South African school girls who don’t have access to sanitary wear as they cannot afford them. Masibambane Secondary School in Kraaifontein, welcomed inspirational women and female health care professionals from the community who shared some empowering messages and informed the 150 girls on appropriate menstrual hygiene management.
