Pastor Suicide: He Was Not Born Again (Church SHORT CUT, Sep 15, 2019)

Short Cut from Church, Sept 15, 2019: Jesse Lee Peterson breaks down the story of a young pastor Jarrid Wilson who reportedly committed suicide at age 30. He was part of a megachurch Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, CA, under head pastor Greg Laurie. He had a wife, Juli, and two young sons. Jesse reads statements from the widow, the head pastor, and the head pastor's son. (Laurie preached of mental illness and depression among Biblical prophets, which Wilson appreciated when he lived.) They had a service for the deceased man saying he was "in the arms of Jesus." Jesse reacts and shares his understanding and story of salvation — being born again. Jesse says this man listened to the voice of Satan.
