His Elbows Are Down Not Around But....

It is inside up and under. He has the club/hands above the ground, but you can see very clearly it is not a fanning totally of the club where the elbows would be facing outward. See how his left side is sagging in. This is from the handwritten letter. The left shoulder drops 1 inch from the letter again. If you keep the left shoulder high and think deep you would aim the tip of the left elbow out not down. You will swing like Sergio. Mr. Hogan changed from a long left arm to a shortened left arm. He did so with his left thumb. He got the club in front of him, but with the cup. It is his connected left arm working properly. Note the small rotation of the left forearm going back AND THEN THE INSIDE UP AND UNDER OF THE LEFT WRIST. It is not just a hinging of the wrist, but a cup. Watch how he is modeling this position with both hands, notate how his body is set over the ball. You can see it if you take the time to study and take it to the golf course.
