Halo with her rope halter cut off - She had the same halter on for over a year!!! Not taken off!!!!

I put a different halter on Halo today and literally cut her rope halter off, as it was impossible to undo the knot. She was so relieved when I slipped the rope halter off. You can see the scars on her face where the rope halter had rubbed.
I can now easily catch her with a halter on. Working on grooming her, leading her, picking up her feet and to catch her without a halter on. Get her relaxed enough for me to be able to put a lead rope around her neck when she has no halter on.
This was the most relaxed she's been since I've owned her.
She's now improving almost exponentially. I'm working on keeping her trust.
Update:
I went back through the past photos of Halo, there's pictures of her before I got her. She had a foal 28th Sept 2018 and in those photos she was wearing the same rope halter she was wearing when I bought her. I suspect it was never taken off, as she was sold to me as essentially unhandled.
