Social Democracy: Why Social Democracy Doesn't Work

In this video I explain about social democracy from a little history and what differentiates social democracy to that of the revolutionary communists. Whilst I acknowledge that democratic socialists by today's standards would be classified as your social democrats of the late 19th century and social democrats do value some form of private ownership and markets today, as I've explained, it still results in disaster.

I've explained briefly on why social democracy doesn't work as the inevitable consequence of implementing socialism in the economy is pretty much the same. Social democrats by today's standards are very much Keynesian's, supporters of the mixed economy who support the fruits of capitalism but abuse capitalism through trying to mix it with socialist policies.

As I have explained, mixed economies cannot escape corporatism and is why the corporatist system thrives.
