Word 1
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 12:46-13:3
• Matt 12:46-50 Jesus was not denying his responsibility to his earthly family. On the contrary, he criticized the religious leaders for not following the Old Testament command to honor their parents. He provided for his mother's security as he hung on the cross. His mother and brothers were present in the upper room at Pentecost. Instead, Jesus was pointing out that spiritual relationships are as binding as physical ones, and he was paving the way for a new community of believers (the universal church), our spiritual family.

Word 2
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 12:46-13:3
• Matt 13:1 Jesus left the house, went to the sea and sat by the shore. Similar to what He did in the book of Luke that He climbed the mountain to the top and sat down there, seeking rest. In this case, He not only sought rest, but made Himself available to teach the people from the seashore. Until we go out to where the people are, we cannot reach them. The scriptures say in Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! We must be reaching out to the lost.

Word 3
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 12:46-13:3
• Matt. 13:2-3 Jesus used many stories, or parables (Mat_13:34), when speaking to the crowds. These stories compare something familiar to something unfamiliar, helping us understand spiritual truth by using everyday objects and relationships. Jesus' parables compel listeners to discover truth, while at the same time concealing the truth from those too lazy or too stubborn to see it. To those who are honestly searching, the truth becomes clear. Each parable has a central meaning unless otherwise specified by Jesus.

Personal Supplication
Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive the grace to be on the go for you, physically reaching out to the lost and praying for them. Matt 28:19-20
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Daily Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover me with his feathers, and under his wings shall I trust: his truth shall be my shield and buckler.
I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come nigh me.
Only with my eyes shall I behold and see the wicked rewarded.

Because I have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation;
There shall no evil befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling.
For God shall give his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.
They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.
I shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet.
Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set me on high, because I have known His name.
I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me.

JESUS IS LORD!
