Carl welcomes Keb Hutchings to play during the second set at the Station Inn in Nashville....September 23, 2019
When Carl was working on the Orthophonic Joy album in 2015, he had Keb Mo slated for the song, "To the Work." Keb was on his way to the recording studio, but had a young guy with him, who played guitar and that he was mentoring. Carl asked if the young man would like to be on the song, and so that relayed into his first studio experience. That guy was Keb Hutchings.
