Brawl breaks out on Venice Beach boardwalk in LA between two homeless men who throw a used shopping cart and a metal pole at each other - a day after city council bans homeless encampments within 500-feet of schools

A wild brawl broke out on the Venice Beach boardwalk in Los Angeles as two men attacked each other with a steel pole and a shopping cart, as homelessness continues to ravage America's second most-populated city.

A shirtless man picked up a metal pole off the ground and threatened to swing it like a baseball bat at another man who used his own skateboard as protection

You better run now! B**** you better run! You better run,' the skateboarder, who grabbed the pole off the ground, and a camp of homeless people witnessing the fight told the shirtless man.

The half-naked man then scattered around the boardwalk in a panic to quickly find an object to defend himself with.

He comes across an abandoned and used shopping cart, and swiftly lifted it above his head to protect himself from the skateboarder's incoming swing.

Seconds later, the shirtless man threw the shopping cart at the skateboarder before the metal pole is thrown at his feet.

He then ran for his life after the skateboarder, who is wearing an all black outfit as well as a black facial covering, picked up the metal pole from the ground.

Its unclear what happened next as the video cuts out. DailyMail.com has contacted the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) for comment over the incident
