Potato Tuna Pattie
INGREDIENTS:
1 grated potato
1 egg
1 table spoon Yogurt
2 table spoon melted butter
¼ of a small onion
1 green onion
Pinch of salt & Pepper
ALTERNATE INGREDIENTS
Cooking Instructions
Wash and scrub the peel on the potato well to remove the dirt. (Optional way is to peel the potato).
Using a grater or food processor shred the potato. Next, leave potato in 2 cups of salted water for an hour to remove some of the starch.
Drain out all the water using a strainer. Using a teacloth or paper towel take most of the moisture out before adding the rest of the ingredients.
In a large bowl
Whisk egg with a pinch of salt and pepper. Add the shredded potatoes, chopped green and white onions, yogurt, melted butter. Mix all ingredients with a spoon. Place into two or one small baking pan and bake for 45 mins.
OVEN INSTRUCTIONS
Pre-heat at 350 for 30 mins – Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown (40 – 45 mins).
