PYRAMIDS: In late 2016, reports surfaced about pyramidal structures in Antarctica. At least three potential pyramids have been flagged as possibly man-made, with one resembling the Great Pyramid of Giza and aligning nearly perfectly to the cardinal points. FORTRESS WALL/ZIGGARAT COMPLEX: In January 2020, a researcher shared coordinates of a mysterious structure in Queen Maud Land. The nearly 2-mile long object resembles a fortification perimeter wall and hosts two nearly buried pyramid-like structures with 45º angles and flat tops, similar to a Sumerian ziggurat. GIGANTIC BUILDINGS: Also in January 2020, another massive 2,000-foot structure was found rising out of the ice on the northern coastline. The so-called building is symmetrical and almost perfectly square. SUBMERGED COMPLEX: There are also reports of a submerged complex with structures that appear to be man-made, though details are sparse. These discoveries have sparked a lot of curiosity and speculation about what might be hidden beneath the ice in Antarctica. Year after year, researchers stumble on some unexplained mysteries in Antarctica that shock mainstream historians and archaeologists. The Eltanin Antenna is an object photographed on the sea floor by the Antarctic oceanographic research ship USNS Eltanin in 1964, while photographing the sea bottom west of Cape Horn. Due to its regular antenna-like structure and upright position on the seafloor at a depth of 3,904 meters (12,808 ft), Oceanographer Bruce Cathie has suggested that it might be an extraterrestrial artifact. From the alleged three pyramids that perfectly resemble the pyramids at Giza to the dozens of strange objects detected by satellite images, Antarctica continues to be Earth’s least explored continent. That can’t be a surprise, considering it’s the most remote place from any human civilization, and it’s buried under at least three miles of ice, almost five kilometers.
