Welcome to this view on the Beach.
This is one of the most remote beaches from the capital: it is located 20 km south of Athens. However, it gets quite crowded in summer.

The sea here is very clean (for this the beach received the Blue Flag award), the waves are weak, the coast is sandy. Varkiza is considered one of the most beautiful beaches around Athens.

The beach is open from 8:00 to 20:00.

All along the Varkiza coast there are cafes, restaurants and shops. In cozy taverns, you can order dishes from freshly caught fish, and in cafes, Greek coffee with sweets. There are also expensive restaurants and discos on the coast.

Near Varkiza Beach there are two paid beaches - Do It and YaBanaki - as well as several small free beaches.
