TrulyYourVA with Janis welcomed to today’s podcast, Brenda Cadman Brenda Cadman is a verified global Canva Expert and owner of Bon Accord Creative, a WordPress development company based in PEI, Canada. (Brenda recently sold her website development company and is in the process on focusing her attention on crafting her Canva business even further!)

As an entrepreneur for more than 20 years, Brenda understands the importance of consistency in building a brand.

As a Canva expert, she’s taught thousands of small business owners how to use Canva more effectively and efficiently. In particular, she loves to help business owners tame their hot mess Canva accounts by creating an organizational system that ensures they can spend less time in Canva, and more time doing what they love.

Brenda shared amazing organization tips as well as how to navigate in Canva. She suggested trying out the specialized features within Canva such as the branding kit and elements. (Brenda’s authority on the subject of organization in Canva is second to NONE. She is a former “organizer” which has served her well with all of her businesses.)

Brenda is (1) of (26) Canva experts and if she doesn’t know the answer to a specific question, she can reach out to her team of experts.

As a Virtual Assistant and Podcast Host (of (3) podcasts), I love using Canva for creating my own templates for the podcasts as well as for my social media posts. I recently set up my Branding Kit and love it! I also started to use the Content Planner within Canva. It’s easy and very user friendly. I can also send the graphic as I am in it and post it directly to my various social media platforms with ease.

I thoroughly enjoyed my conversation with Brenda today! If I cannot figure something out that I am trying to do in Canva, I google what I’m looking for and her videos always pop up so for me having her on my podcast, wow - she’s my Canva hero!
