Recycle Old Brass Flex Track into working condition

If you are new to model railroading or on a tight budget then this video is for you. 2 kinds of old flex track picked up from a train show for about 50 cents each, maybe less. The track was brittle and corroded. After washing and using brass polish the track became flexible like new again. Then we painted it with Rustoleum dark brown camo paint. Finally using 320 sandpaper followed by 600 grit paper we go the perfect surface to apply Oxgard to keep it conductive essentially forever. The video is very shaky, except where it counts to see the track up close.
