Cleo returning to the paddock after being injured

My poor girl. Her hood got caught over her eyes and she was running around like that probably for much of the day before being discovered.

She has cut and abrasions on her from running into fencing. She was put into a stable overnight. It was the first day I didn't go to the horses in a while, but there's other people on the property 24/7, she just wasn't noticed.

She lost weight from the experience, not being able to graze and then being stabled overnight. She is a bit better today (Sat 5th) and I will rug her again without a hood. No more hoods.

She cannot go without a rug during summer, as she has dreadful Queensland Itch - which is an allergy to midge saliva. https://pets.stackexchange.com/questions/23550/how-to-treat-queensland-itch
