Driving through the Redwood Forest and Hwy 101 along the Pacific Coast Route | Travel Vlog

From Roseburg, Oregon we are heading out to Sacramento, California taking I-5 for about 6 hours. The drive is stunning. You will be able to see Mt. Shasta on your way. In July Sacramento has California State Fair, which is a lot of fun.
Coming back to Seattle, Washington we took HWY 101 North. This way we can drive through Redwood Forest of Northern California and drive through one of the threes, which will cost you $10. Then the HWY brings you by the Oregon coast. There are several spots where you can pull in and enjoy the view. We stopped off at Face Rock Scenic Viewpoint.

Tip: Bring some food with you and warm clothes, so you can sit on the bench and enjoy the ocean view, and if you lucky, see the sunset.

(Face Rock Scenic Viewpoint)
