I thought it was gone forever!!!!

When grandma and grandpa had to be moved into a home, all of us had to go thru the house and pick out things before the estate sale.

Since we lived so far away and it was such a valuable item, I was told this piano was lost forever and sold at the estate sale. I was distraught and incredibly sad, I remember wanting to hunt down whoever bought it and buy it back.

Its a priceless family heirloom to me...

Well anyways they lied to me and actually had it shipped back home and surprised me with it. They had it tuned and everything. Over 100 scrolls of old ragtime songs and hits of yesteryear

Ive played piano since I was 5 and I always remembered singing Christmas songs at grandmas house with the family on this 1926 Apollo Player Piano and it is truly worth more than gold to me. It is such an exquisite work of art that embodies what I remember most about the holidays with my family.

Covergeist is also a play on words of my grandmas Maiden Name COVER and her married name GEIST... so that should give you an idea of how happy I was in this moment.
