Dyeing Knife Scales G10/FRN & Bone ! 8 different models

Dyeing scales I used approximately 1/4 cup Rit liquid dye for synthetics / 1/4 cup vinegar and 2 quarts water. Bring solution to almost boiling. I left them go about 10-12 minutes. But you can experiment with it and see what works best for you. I have varied this formula and it seems to produce the same results. All purpose dye is probably just as effective except maybe for FRN scales but see what you think.

Remember to use surgical gloves to keep from staining your hands. Also best to use stainless steel pans and stainless steel sink to prevent staining.
