Vimshottari Dasa using Nakshatras

One of the most sophisticated tools of Vedic Astrology is their Dasa systems. Of the numerous Dasas, Vimshotari is by far the most popular to use as it is very accurate and events can be pin pointed right up to the day. It uses the 27 Nakshatra system and 9 planets. It runs all in for 120 years. Each planet has its own designated Dasa period and the run in a consecutive manner as discussed in this video. You really get a sense of how the individual feels about the Dasa they are running.
The natal chart indication together with the Vargas, Dasas and transits give a firm indication of the part of life that is being activated.
Nakshatra system I use starts with Ashwini which is ruled by Ketu and follows around the zodiac till the last 13º20 of Pisces which is Reverti Nakshatra ruled by Mercury.
Natal Moon's Nakshatra is Janma or Birth and it can be difficult, 2nd Nakshatra after Natal Moon is Sampat gives 2nd and 11th house effect, 3rd Vipat gives 8th and 12th, 4th one Kshema 4th house, 5th one Pratyak 3rd and 6th house , 6th one Sadhana 11th house, 7th one Naidhana 12th house, 8th and 9th are both friendly and can give fabulous effects.
