You Are Clean

What the Covid-19 did for us as a humanity was to remind us of certain truths we seem to have forgotten and this is one of them. We live in an unclean world—how much have we contributed to polluting it. We eat unclean foods and lead unclean lives compromising our immunity systems. Bottom line: we are unclean in so many levels. Including the spiritual. Deadly unclean.
Because we are filthy dirty unclean, tonight as we gather for Maundy Thursday, Christ wants to do the same thing he did for his disciples: He wants to wash us. He comes to each one of us in Spirit and desires to cleanse us from all unrighteousness and the filth of sin.
