Rocket Man: An interpretation of the Elton John song.

Another in the singing hologram series.
This time I sing a rough slightly more laid back than usual (didn't want to wake my neighbours, it was going on midnight and I have a loud voice when I belt it out) version of the classic song 'Rocket Man' by Elton John while accompanying myself on my Korg Kross II Synthesizor Workstation with a simple patch containing a simple drum beat and the Korg Kross Piano sound.
This new improved version includes more carefully remixed and remastered sound because the previously uploaded version had dreadful noise issues in file conversion from my keyboard's SD card and I hadn't noticed trusting that it would sound OK through monitor speakers and only listening back quietly to my MacBook Pro's speakers (the song was recorded live directly into my Korg Kross while videoing, so I merely synchronised the stereo keyboard sound recording to the live video from the same session).

No claims are made for the copyright of this song and is for demonstration purposes only.

Technical Notes:
Video was done with built in camera on my MacBook Pro using Photobooth,
Performed sound including the vocal microphone (a champagne coloured, special issue AKG D5 supercardioid dynamic) was recorded directly by the Korg Kross 2 88 key Synthesizor Workstation I was playing, then played back into my computer via USB into Garageband and split into three stereo tracks separately EQ'd and compressed with the piano and drum emphasis in the 'centre' and two identical tracks compressed and EQ'd to highlight vocals sent ninety degrees left and right with a touch more reverb than was already on the original recording. This was then mixed and mastered/stereo imaged as sound onto the video file. Unfortunately the computer's built in microphone was disabled during filming so I didn't get to capture some extra 'acoustic' sound that could have been mixed in for vocal presence.
I also used close field Kurzweil, flat frequency response, studio monitors during performing and post-production mixing.
