What's the Cost of Visiting the Maldives? [Budget, Planning, Things to do]

We flew from Thailands Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport to Male International Airport in the Maldives by Air Asia - Cost for a return flight for the two of us including taxes was 25,000 Thai Baht ($825USD)

We stayed at Saii Lagoon Resort (Curio Collection - Hilton) https://saiiresorts.com/maldives/lagoon/ for 2 nights including breakfast in an overwater villa. It included speedboat transfers. Cost for the two of us per night was 16,000 Thai Baht ($525USD)
Check in was at 2pm - Check out at 1pm although they let us stay until 5pm as we had an 8.30pm flight. Thank you; )

Things to do on the island include eating at all the restaurants including Thai, Indian, Cafe del Mar and Mistry of Crab. Shopping at the Marina at Crossroads, Hard Rock Hotel, Akbar Tea and Quicksilver. Water sports - jet ski, diving, snorkelling, boat rides, gym etc. Swimming, sunbathing and general drifting around and gazing out over the ocean to spot black tip sharks and schools of manta rays. The hotel bars make amazing unique cocktails big enough for couples to share.

It's worth rising early for the sunrise over the Indian Ocean.
