Oil and Gas Ireland - Norway owns ExxonMobil, Shell and Statoil

Ireland should have never given away its natural resources in these deals.

Although this video is now 9 years old, it sends a clear message to how important the natural resources are to a country. Now that the cost of living has sky rocketed over the past number of months, these resources could have saved us somewhat from this drastic inflation.

The video explains how Norway applied 'georgist' economics to ensure a more fairly sharing of the fruits of nature. Ireland and every other county in the world, even those without a wealth of oil and minerals, can do the same by treating urban land as a common resource. The difference between Norway and Ireland, our government gave away our natural resources for deals that the people would have never agreed to.
