Luke Flanagan MEP - Restrictions on Hemp Farmers in Ireland, at European Parliament AGRI Committee
During the European Parliament AGRI Committee last May 17th, Luke Flanagan MEP spoke about restrictions imposed on Hemp Farmers in Ireland claiming them unnecessary.
Mr. Flanagan also went on to state there is massive potential for this sector and current government policy is hampering progress. Continuing his argument with many other policy areas that the government is out of touch.
In his two minute talk, he explained the lost in revenue to the Irish Hemp industry and the farmer, which goes into the thousands for each acre. An industry that could change over night and provide a natural much needed product back to the market.
