What Do You Do When Life Trows A Serious Curve Ball At You? - Part 1

8/27/19 - So the Universe decided to trow a serious curve ball my direction and it involves my 94 year old grandfather who I care for as if he was my own father. So last night we had to take him to the hospital due to him fainting and not coming out of it. I thought he had a stroke, but we found out that his heart beat was so low that it caused him to faint when he got up to go to the bathroom on his own and he couldn't come out of the faint for a little while. So they took him into Mercy Hospital and found out that his heart is not beating correctly as the electric part of it is malfunctioning and that is what has been causing his bottom pat of his blood pressure to stay at 39-40 for over a year now. The doctors say that he could be basically at the end of his life now and that there is nothing that can be done because of his age and that his heart just has a lot of wear and tear for a 94 year old man which is normal. The only other option would be to place a pacemaker in to help his heart beat correctly and more normally but he seems to be against that idea. So without that, they said that he would have to be placed in a nursing home to be monitored 24/7 due to fainting.
