How Do You Get Your Elderly Grandfather To Understand He Needs Medical Help?

8/29/19 - So here is the recent update on Gramp's health. He has finally agreed to getting a Pacemaker put in to help him have a better quality of life as he didn't understand that it was a quick and easy procedure and not invasive at all. So going forward, he will have the surgery today or tomorrow morning and then be placed into Father Baker rehab to continue his healing. We are not sure how long he will be in there as currently he is still on a catheter/foli and can't yet void on his own. Hopefully by the time he goes into rehab he can get that out. There are still many unanswered questions but at least we know now why he fainted and that this will help him to stay independent and at home with mom for however long he has remaining.
