Red Belly Black Snake hiding under horse feeder. The horse knew it was there, I didn't.

I put feed into a tyre feeder for my horse (Tuppy). I couldn't get her to approach the feeder, she just stood there looking at me, which was not like her, she tends to follow me around, like a shadow. I moved the tyre feeder out from the fence. It was very heavy for me- so I only moved it 12 inches and there curled up was a red belly black snake (I thought was a baby - 2-3 foot long) is about 4 foot long.
It didn't move at all, it was, most likely, petrified of me, when I walked off, it moved and I got more footage of it. It was terrified of me and I felt bad, so stopped filming.

Red belly blacks like water and are known to kill and eat brown snakes (I'm not sure how reliable that it), but it's good. While red bellies are venomous to humans, they're not aggressive, but brown snakes are more venomous and aggressive and have been known to chase people.
So it will be in interesting summer. It's impossible to be in a paddock and not be in the company of snakes, it's just we often don't see them.
My footage isn't that good, as I kept looking at the snake with my eyes and not through the camera, sorry.
