A ceremony for the delivery of weapons by Russia

The President of the Military Junta of Mali, Colonel Assimi Goïta, has presided over a ceremony for the delivery of weapons by Russia.

The exact ammount of weapons is unknown, but it is known to include a Mi-35 gunship and four L-39C Albatros light attack aircraft.

The security of the ceremony has been provided by members of the Wagner Group.
