How Good Is This Cheap 35mm Scanner?! The SVP FS1880 Film & Slide Scanner

If you are scanning photos for video content at 1080p HD videos, 5 Megapixels is more then enough resolution... In fact, it comes close to the resolution for 4K. In this video, I unbox and demonstrate the SVP FS1880 Film & Slide Scanner. This is a slightly older 5 Megapixel USB2 35mm scanner, with software designed for Windows XP, but I got it to work in Windows 10. The SVP will hold 12 full resolution images in the internal memory at at time, then the jpg images need to be exported to the PC, then you can scan 12 more images.

In this demostration, I revisit a collection of old negatives that I had in storage. Some of the images I found have not been seen since I took the pictures back in the 1990s, so this was a treat for me. I also experiment with scanning filmreel images.
