Organ Trail is a retro zombie survival game that parodies Oregon Trail.

In The Organ Trail, players must cross a zombie-infested, post-apocalyptic United States in an old station. Players in Organ Trail must manage their limited resources, including food, ammunition and fuel for their vehicle. The goal of Organ Trail is to complete the journey and keep everyone in their party alive and healthy.

At the beginning of Organ Trail, players can choose from a number of characters to play as in Organ Trail. Organ Trail character options include: a cop from Kentucky, a clerk from New Jersey, and a lawyer from Miami. Each character in Organ Trail has different bonuses in gameplay.

The Organ Trail's popularity led Organ Trail's developers to start a Kickstarter to fund a "director's cut" of Organ Trail based on fan feedback and suggestions. The Director's Cut of Organ Trail features a number of changes to the original Organ Trail. While the original Organ Trail has been described as a pure parody of The Oregon Trail, the developers of Organ Trail decided The Director's Cut of Organ Trail should stand on its own.
