Martin Braithwaite booed by Barcelona fans at the Nou Camp as contract dispute rages on

Denmark international Braithwaite is reportedly refusing to leave Barcelona unless he is fully compensated for the final two of years his contract.

Barcelona are currently unable to register a number of their new signings this summer, including star striker Robert Lewandowski, unless they cut their huge wage bill.

Barcelona are reportedly pressuring several fringe players to leave, including Braithwaite – who only joined the La Liga giants from Leganes in 2020.

But reports in Spain claim Braithwaite is refusing to give in to the club's demands and leave this summer unless he is paid what he is owed.

Barcelona fans voiced their anger with Braithwaite ahead of Joan Gamper Trophy friendly match against Mexican side Pumas UNAM on Sunday.
