Killing cherry tree without chemicals

We cut with a chainsaw, and with a simple saw it could be done, the bark up to the cambium in two circular strips 15 to 20 cm apart.

We remove the bark with the help of a chisel or a hatchet and scrape the cambium so that there are no returns of juices to the roots. The tree from the trunk will continue to give juices upwards, leaves and branches, but we will not have returns to the roots as a result of which the tree will rot and dry up in a year or two.

Αποξήρανση δέντρου κερασιάς χωρίς χημικά

Η αποξήρανση έγινε χωρίς χημικά για να μην επηρεαστούν τα διπλανά δέντρα. 

Κόψαμε με αλυσοπρίονο και με πριόνι θα μπορούσε να γίνει, τον φλοιό μέχρι το κάμβιο σε δύο κυκλικές λωρίδες σε απόσταση 15 έως 20 εκατοστά.

Βγάζουμε τον φλοιό με την βοήθεια σκαρπέλου η σκεπαρνιού και ξύνουμε το κάμβιο για να μην έχουμε επιστροφές χυμών στις ρίζες. Το δέντρο από τον κορμό θα συνεχίσει να δίνει χυμούς προ τα πάνω, φύλλα και κλαδιά, δεν θα έχουμε όμως επιστροφές στις ρίζες με αποτέλεσμα να σαπίσουν και να ξεραθεί το δέντρο σε ένα δύο χρόνια.

Στο δεύτερο δέντρο κερασιάς, το μικρότερο αριστερά, ήδη άρχισαν να ξεραίνονται τα φύλλα.
