Jesus said in Matt 5:39 Do not resist evil.
Have you ever wondered what this might mean?
These days, I do a lot of my pondering in terms of "energy", as I am understanding more and more that everything is created through energy. The Word spoken was an energetic "sound wave" and it became.
In the science of electricity, OHM is a measure of resistance. The higher the ohm rating, the more resistance it has.
The word Ohm, Aum, and possibly Amen may actually all be related.
In thinking in terms of "resistance" as energy, when we generate and hold thoughts and feelings of constant 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 and 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, we might actually be creating an energy field of 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 opposition and resistance.
To use a very simple example to explain this concept, if you push against a concrete wall it's resistance will create more tension (or muscle buildup and soreness). 🙂
If we actually want the resistance (opposition) to dissipate, we have to stop creating it.
Could it be that Jesus was trying to convey this message of "stop creating resistance" by not resisting or opposing the very thing you are trying to avoid?
This does not mean that we willingly accept everything that is handed to us, but I am specifically addressing the "energy" (#worry , #fear , #anxiety , arguments, fighting) that we infuse and generate beyond simply standing in our #truth (on calm waters ).
It's the accompanying negative #energies we invite that cause our "sea of glass" to #vibrate and create enormous waves of instability.
To prove this as potentially false, would it be worth the experiment of generating neutral or positive energy through 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆, 𝒋𝒐𝒚, and taking the admonition of Philippians 4:8 to heart?
For the past 5 years, I have practised a lot of gratitude and melodic 𝒉𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 as an expression of #joy ... and for the most part I have consistently been standing on "a sea of glass", which has remained undisturbed by the ripples of changing vibrations.
It is also important that we pay close attention to what we 𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒆 and 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕 to happen in our future.
Expectation and imagination is what the Bible refers to as "faith", and we all know that our "belief" creates the thing we expect to be. So be careful about what kind of future you are "expecting" to manifest.
Especially, be careful with the abundant conspiracies out there and biblical "foretelling" of gloom and darkness... these things CAN be changed by the "brightness" we hold in our #consciousawareness awareness.
Everything is energy, and #energy is not static and can be changed and redirected into a different outcome.
