The U.S.-China trade war has escalated again.
On Aug. 23, 2019, the Chinese Communist Regime (“CCP”) announced it would impose retaliatory tariffs on $75 billion worth of U.S. goods.On the afternoon of August 23, President Trump immediately responded by raising the tariffs on $550 billion worth of Chinese goods.
Trump tweeted: “For many years China (and many other countries) has been taken advantage of the United States on Trade, Intellectual Property Theft, and much more. Our Country has been losing HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS a year to China, with no end in sight....”

What is the political motivation?According to an article in a German media, the United States demanded an end to “Made in China 2025.”Beijing obviously wasn’t prepared to do that. The signs are clear that the CCP is trying to drag this out.This is part of its strategy against the United States.The cornerstone of its plan is that Trump loses the 2020 election, and in his place, a Democrat with special ties to the CCP becomes the next president.,Then the CCP could do as it pleases, just like before.

But even pro-Beijing Joe Biden, former U.S. vice president, and one of the Democratic presidential candidates for the 2020 election, openly denounced the CCP.
Foreign analysts believe that in the States, anti-CCP sentiment has gained dominance in mainstream society.If Biden wants to get elected, he has no choice but to abide by the people’s wishes.In fact, since the U.S.-China trade war began, the CCP has been playing a waiting game all along, and now the whole world sees that.What Trump wants is fair trade, and thus he has demanded that the CCP carry out structural reform. This means Beijing must forsake its authoritarian rule, which would spell the end of the CCP.Of course, this isn’t something the CCP would accept. So why would the CCP want to negotiate?

As Steve Bannon, former White House Chief Strategist, aptly puts it, during an interview on NTDTV’s “Zooming In” show:“Every time they (the CCP) open their mouth, they lie.They have lied on every deal they have set up with the West.They would tell you one thing, and then they do what they want to do.Trump was the first president who said we are not going to do this.”
“And Lighthizer was savvy enough.So you had an agreement, and that agreement basically started to bring the Chinese economy into the world economy, to get away from the slave labor that’s really going on in China and the suppression of Chinese workers.And so it was the beginning of a rapprochement.That’s why hardliners in China, and particularly hardliners after this “Belt and Road” initiative conference they had, where the Wang Qi-shans in the world think that:Hey, we’ve got the West where we want them.”

The CCP’s ambition had all along been to become the global hegemon through communism.On the other hand, Trump has called for all countries across the world to resist socialism. On the National Day for the Victims of Communism, Trump said: “Together, we mourn the unbearable losses so many have endured under communism, and we renew our pledge to continue advancing the cause of freedom and opportunity for all.”
