Star Wars News - the Sequel Trilogy Retcon is OFFICIALLY NOT Happening

So many fans, like us, were upset with Disney's Star Wars Sequel Trilogy. We even created our first feature film about the failure of the trilogy called, Star Wars: A Sequel Trilogy Documentary. Fans have been hopefull due to Star Wars Rebels episode, The World Between Worlds. Since then, many fans have been calling for a retcon, an erasure, or simply, an alternate reality.

It seems the majority of fans do not want to see the same Luke Skywalker and other characters, such as Han Solo, Princess Leia, Admiral Ackbar, and others, lead to the sequel trilogy timeline of events.

Today though, an article just released over at starwars.com and it confirms that the Luke Skywalker academy/school that we see in Chapter 6 of the Book of Boba Fett is the very same academy/school that we will see in the future story in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

The article reads: We’ve glimpsed Luke’s storied temple in comic books and on film, although to be fair it was mostly rubble and flame in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Now, we turn back the clock to see the new Jedi school at its inception, with ant droids working hard to place every stone on the first humble hut.

This makes it a sad day for many Star Wars fans. We hope that you join us this weekend as we discuss this, along with the latest Book of Boba Fett news.
