Illinois FARM VLOG MILO Update, fall plots & bucks on trail cams!

Join me for an up to the minute update on how our very late planted Milo, in early August, is doing as of 10-24-19, as well as all of my late planted fall food plots for deer and our crp warm season grass cover. This is on our Illinois farm, and is part of our property management project(s) as we slowly improve the wildlife and deer habitat. We'll check some trail cameras and see a nice variety of bucks and turkeys, and see how all of the food plots are doing. While this is not quite Midwest Whitetail, we are 'Average Joes' here and are doing our best to be good land stewards for the deer and other wildlife. We'll also check the deer watering hole that I just built this summer not farm from our dream country home, which is very remote and see who has been using the new watering hole. This year has been a very difficult year with the extreme weather changes and I have replanted many of these plots 3 times this fall due to extreme and excessive rain, then prolonged drought and heat throughout September. But sometimes better late than Never can also work, so we'll see how our land management plan comes out down to the wire here before the real frost hits! Also check out the 2019 Polaris Ranger XP1000 Northstar as I winch out a very heavy Banks deer blind to get it set back to level after hitting it with the tractor bush hog this summer.
