Paid Parking To Be Implemented September 1 At Enmax Centre - August 8, 2022 - Micah Quinn
The contentious issue of paid parking at the Enmax Centre is moving ahead. Starting on September 1st, patrons of the event centre will have to pay five dollars for parking during concerts, cultural events and Lethbridge Hurricanes games. Canes season ticket holders will not have to pay for parking. Lethbridge College students will also have to pay fees if they want to park in the lot. Lethbridge City Council approved paid parking after looking at an external operation review of the centre. Kim Gallucci, the General Manager of the Enmax Centre says he knows paid parking will be an adjustment for the community, especially the Canes hockey club.
Gallucci is encouraging patrons to pay with the Flowbird app if they are going to park at the Enmax Centre.
